Training
Among the 14,000 podiatric physicians in the country, approximately 5,000 are board certified and/or board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Our surgeons are not only certified with this Board but also possess more advanced training than other podiatric and orthopedic surgeons.
Advanced techniques
Our physicians at the Michigan Foot and Ankle Institute have completed the highest level of training, available to them. This allows us to provide the most advanced therapies and techniques available. They include, but are not limited to:
- Endoscopic technique
- Arthroscopic technique
- Revisional/Reconstructive correction for previously failed surgery
- Tissue transfers
